At the turn of the century the five foot bench was on all of the Greenline Steamboats that navigated the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. In the 1930's the New York City park system was expanded and the six foot bench version was shipped by the thousands. During the past 110 years, we have manufactured this bench in over 30 different variations for supplies all over the United States. The New York City Park Bench (TM) is still being used in many city parks today.
